My Review On Jiva Heena Hair Care

Jiva Heena Hair Care Pack comes in the traditional green color packet.  This powder smells of a lot of herbs and has a strong smell of mehandi. The powder would come for three-time application for medium length hair.

I have been dyeing my hair with heena for 3 years. I have dark brown hair that's about 5% grey. I've really enjoyed the effects of heena powder over the years. I prefer mehandi to chemical hair dye/hair color. Heena always cover my gray hair, lightly to start but with a deeper red after each application. I have used Patanjali Kesh Kanti Herbal Mehandi-Dark Brown which contains natural ingredients like amla, shikakai etc. Now, I am using Jiva Heena Hair Care. It contains all natural ingredients with no artificial additives. It contains the goodness of amla, shikakai and such beneficial flower extracts.

It gives brownish color rather than orangish but you have to apply 2-3 times to get the best result on grey hairs. It’s much better than the Nupur, Kokila, Godrej henna that contains chemicals and give results in first try. Jiva Heena Hair Care cleanses hair roots and scalp. They restore the natural glowing color to your hair and keep dandruff away. It covers my grey hair and gives natural color to hair, prevents hair loss but it doesn't moisture my hair, gets my hair dry. So, I have to add a tsp. of oil or curd to condition and soften my hair. This heena hair pack adds volume to your hair. It also gives cooling effect on your scalp as it contains camphor.

How Do I Use This Jiva Heena Hair Care Pack / How To Use

• Take required amount of henna as per your hair length in iron kadai or small bowl but as my experience, I suggest you to soak mehandi in iron bowl or kadai for intense color.
• Mix well and make a paste.
• Leave this thick paste overnight.
• You may add oil/curd for soften your hair as it doesn't moisture your hair.
• The next day, apply the henna paste and leave it on hair for 2 hrs.
• Wrap your hair with plastic cover after applying heena hair pack.
• Then I washed it with plain water. 
• During that night, Oil your hair with coconut/mustard oil and wash your hair with shampoo the next day.

***If you follow these procedure, it will help to condition your hair and adds shine to your hair. You would feel softness on your hair. One important thing, hair should have been washed max, a day before applying heena.
