Including face masks in your skincare routine is the perfect way to combat and prevent acne. Also, using face masks is just one of the great ways to relax, detoxify and remove impurities from your skin. I have oily skin, which is equally sensitive and prone to acne. I have been using Sage Apothecary Activated Charcoal and Tea Tree 3 In 1 Mud Mask for almost one month now and, I just wanted to share how this product fared for me.

My Experience With Sage Apothecary Activated Charcoal And Tea Tree 3 In 1 Mud Mask

This is my second trial of this brand after using Sage Apothecary Strawberry Lip Balm. The lip balm is amazing so I ordered another product of Sage Apothecary brand and I was scared to use this. This 3 in 1 mud mask, helps in removing the impurities on the skin and unclogged the open pores through the activated charcoal and tea tree extracts and made the texture of my facial skin smooth and has exfoliating factor also. I had high hopes from this mask since my skin has been prone to more breakouts for the past few months so, I’ve decided to give this mask a try, but unfortunately, it disappointed me. It didn't work on my acne.

This Sage Apothecary face mask has a smooth consistency and is easy to spread. It is grey in color and black particles in it. Like a regular clay mask, this one also takes around 10-15 minutes to dry completely. 

Initially, when you open the cap, this face mask gives out a little strong smell. I like mild fragrances so, it is a big turn off for me.

I apply this mud mask once or twice a week as per the given instructions but, I see no remarkable difference. It’s just a basic clay masks. It kept my skin oil-free for almost 2 to 3 hours. There were no big results, which was a complete disappointment for me. However, I did notice that my complexion became a bit brighter and smoother. Overall, it’s an average face mask with no extraordinary effects.
