Today I am going to show you how to deal with dark circles. Dark circles under the lower eyelids are common in men and women. These dark circles can make you appear older than you are. It's not really a serious health problem but many people feel that dark circles under their eyes make them look tired, older, or unhealthy. They don't feel confident.
These tips not just brighten your peepers but will also help you deal with those bags under the eyes.
Get a proper sleep
Elevation is also help you to remove dark circles. Elevate your head with an extra pillow as you sleep to prevent fluid retention around your eyes.
Use a cold metal spoon
The quick fix for dark circles is by using a product that you must already have at home like spoon. If you don't know I will tell you metal spoons are good temperature transmitters. Now let me tell you how to use spoon to remove dark circles.
- Place two metal spoons in a bowl of ice water. Keep them soak for 15 minutes.
- Place the spoons on the area of your eye contours. Hold them in this position for a few seconds. The cold temperature constricts the blood vessels and boosts blood circulation which helps in reducing in the appearance of dark circles and swelling.
- Start by making circular motions with the spoons around the eye area till the spoons have warmed up. The extreme cold will not just reduce your dark circles but will also help reduce any kind of puffiness.
Tea bags for the win
I love sipping on hot green tea every now and then have multiple skin benefits but I bet you didn't know that these brewed green tea can be used as a quick fix for dark circles.
Just take the tea bags, place it on the eyes for few minutes, remove the tea bags and wash off with cold water. Relax and let it do its magic.
The caffeine in the green tea is going to help tighten the skin around the eyes, while the tannins a natural compound found in the tea is going to help improve the blood circulation. Some tea bags even have anti inflammatory and anti allergic properties
Almond Oil
Almond oil can also help to lighten dark circles under your eyes, reduce puffiness under eyes and treat hyperpigmentation. Almond oil contains retinol, vitamin E, and vitamin K, which can keep the delicate skin under your eyes smooth without irritating it. Use original almond oil (sweet almond oil). It won't harm under your eye skin.
You can directly apply almond oil on dark circles, leave it overnight and rinse with cold water in the morning.
Maintain a balanced diet
Use a sunscreen
Did you know the skin around the eyelids is the thinnest skin of the body. Now to stop it from getting more darker, I would suggest that pat the sunscreen gently under the eyes everyday, the skin pigments around the eye making the dark circles worst which is why it is super essential to wear sunscreen everyday and also do not forget to reapply.
Conceal the right way
On a daily basis use a concealer as a quick fix to hide dark circles. Lightly dab some concealer over the dark circles and then blend it out evenly. Use concealer lighter your skin tone.

Dark circles is not a health concern but many people feel tired, older. Many people goes to doctor to remove dark circles. But there are many ways to get rid of dark circles at home.
Dark Circles are caused due to lack of sleep, bad diet, rubbing and scratching round the area and are sometimes caused due to hereditary factors. Just remember to follow these tips and tricks for a long period to see visible results.
