1. Moisturization

However the waiting time between each product is equally important because certain product texture can roll up if you apply them back to back, so waiting for each product to settle down into the skin before reaching for the next is the best way to ensure a proper skin prep for makeup.

Never Skip Sunscreen

We all know how important it is to apply sunscreen before heading out. No matter the forecast, sunscreen is the one of the important skincare step you should never skip before heading outdoors for the day. But when you are wearing makeup you may be tempted to skip it because it can be a little too greasy or too thick and sometime gives you that hideous white cast. But you really shouldn't as the SPF in your makeup products is not enough to protect your skin from UV damage.

I prefer for oily skin type is gel formulation sunscreen. The other thing that you need to keep in mind that sunscreen should be worn everyday all year around. Be it winter or monsoon never skip sunscreen. And just like your skincare products apply it all the way down to your neck , don't skip that part.

Pampering Is A Must

Repeat after me, I'll never skip primer again. Yes, a primer is used to prep your skin before makeup. I best once you start using a primer you'll forget what a melt down is. Firstly, the application of primer increases the longevity of the makeup. Secondly, the primer creates a smooth canvas and even skin prior to makeup application. Thirdly, primer helps blurs skin imperfections. It's literally a holy grail product.

Exfoliate Regularly

Although all of us are aware of amazing benefits of exfoliation. We are also guilty of not exfoliating on a regular basis. Exfoliation thoroughly cleanses your pores from deep within and improves your skin texture so that you makeup doesn't look patchy and cakey. Plus since most base makeup products are oil based and heavy they usually clog your pores if not taken off properly. In general, exfoliating skin one to two times a week is enough. Your skin will look best if exfoliate regularly. But avoid over-exfoliating as it can lead to redness and irritation. 

Remove Makeup

It is very important to remove makeup before going to bed, it can cause damage to your skin during night. The skin renews itself while you sleep, and when you leave makeup on, you are preventing that from happening. If you remove your makeup, you remove all dirt, impurities, cosmetics from your skin. So, it prevents your skin from pimples, redness, blackheads and other type of blemishes. It lets your skin breathe and helps your skin to renew itself while you sleep.

You can remove your makeup by using makeup removal, cleansing milk, miscellar water or coconut oil. I prefer to use coconut oil to remove your makeup. It removes your makeup easily and it's natural too. After removing makeup, use facewash to cleanse your face deeply.
