The Shade Range of Kay Beauty Hydrating Foundation
The Kay Beauty Hydrating Foundation comes in 20 different shades that are suited for every Indian skin tone. The brand has coded their shade names in this manner as it can help us find our skin match while shopping online like each shade name comes with a shade number, a letter to denote the undertone of the foundation, and a shade name that denotes how light or dark the shade is (Light, Medium, Tan, Deep), just like as shown in the picture. The shade range is pretty diversified and there is a shade for pretty much everyone.
I bought shade from this range 145N Medium which matched almost perfectly with my skin tone.

My Review on Kay Beauty Hydrating Foundation
After my Maybelline Superstay Full Coverage Foundation which was a decent and full coverage one, I have been using Kay Beauty Hydrating Foundation for quite some time now. This foundation has a hydrating formula that is enriched with avocado and mango butter.

Next review will be on Too Faced Born This Way Foundation
The consistency of the foundation is just like any other foundation it's neither too thick nor too thin. It is liquidy, creamy that feels cooling and hydrating on the skin. It blends so seamlessly and gives medium coverage. I tried it on my acne spot and the spot just faded, however, it wasn't invisible. But offers a skinlike finish without looking cakey or streaky. So if you've got blemishes, heavy dark circles, spots, and pigmentation, it will not cover all that. This is an everyday foundation. It's a hydrating foundation and gives a natural finish to the skin. When I applied two layers of foundation, it didn't feel heavy at all on my skin. It didn't oxidize on my skin. It's a lightweight foundation. But it does not give high coverage. It lasts quite long without many touch-ups frequently. It gives a dewy fresh look.
Pros:
- Light-weight and creamy
- Long-lasting
- Hydrating on skin
- Blends easily
- Gives a natural look
- Sheer to medium coverage
- Cruelty-free, paraben-free, paraffin-free, vegan
- User-friendly packaging
- Perfect foundation for all skin type
Cons:
- Doesn't give a high coverage
- Expensive
Recommendation
If you are looking for an everyday kind of foundation which is very comfortable on the skin and gives a fresh, nice hydrating finish then definitely go for this. Overall it's a good foundation and by using along with other products, it will give a nice dewy base.
Thank you so much for this nice information. Hope so many people will get aware of this and useful as well. And please keep update like this.
